One Year Fanfiction Anniversary!

 

Today, March 22, it's exactly 1 year since I published the first chapter of my first fanfiction: Horse Lady of Rohan (now retitled to "Riding With the Elves"). Since then I've written over 300 000 words of fanfiction, split into seven longer and shorter stories! 

What began as a quarantine project has become my favorite hobby. Thank you, all readers who took the time to comment and review my work early in the process, or I might never have continued.

This calls for a celebration. :)

It's Done!

 

I finally finished my first fanfic, Riding With the Elves (formerly titled "Horse Lady of Rohan")! 110 000 words written in less than 5 months. Thank you, quarantine...Writing fanfiction has been so fun, and this was definitely not my last story. Will continue my Thranduil story now!

Riding With the Elves

My first fanfiction, where I look into what happens with some of the members of the Fellowship after the war.

There are still orcs and other monsters around, so Legolas and his father Thranduil sets out on a quest to clear the Brown Lands and Emyl Muin. On the journey they get company by Wynne, a young horse breeder from Rohan with a hidden agenda.

"You will be the only woman of the company,

it will be just you and all those elf men.

You will be close to them at all hours,

sleeping in their camp, sharing their meals,

tending to their wounds if they get any."

Summary:

With a secret mission to marry an elf, Wynne must join Legolas' and Elvenking Thranduil's new quest as a horsekeeper. She begins an adventurous journey, encountering orcs and monsters, friendly uruk-hai, a lady dwarf and many Fellowship heroes - but as for love, it seems human-elf relationships are rare for a reason.
